SEVIER COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT CLERKS
The Sevier County Circuit Court was organized in 1810.
Up to 1836 the Circuit Court Judge who had been appointed by the Tennessee General Assembly appointed the Circuit Court Clerk.
From 1836 the circuit court clerk has been elected by popular vote for a term of four years.
